For
30 years, Marna Atkin has held the position of Guidance
Counselor at Albany High School in Albany, New York,
preparing and assisting students in the college admissions
process. She understands all aspects of applying to college
and is able to provide valuable insight and direction in
helping to choose the right school.
Marna received her Bachelors Degree in Education from Boston
University and later obtained her Masters Degree in
Education, with a concentration in Counseling from Boston
State College. As a tenured Guidance Counselor of the New
York State Education Department, she possesses a permanent
certification as a School Counselor.

her assist students in setting and obtaining realistic
college goals.
