For 30 years, Marna Atkin has held the position of Guidance Counselor at Albany High School in Albany, New York, preparing and assisting students in the college admissions process. She understands all aspects of applying to college and is able to provide valuable insight and direction in helping to choose the right school.

Marna received her Bachelors Degree in Education from Boston University and later obtained her Masters Degree in Education, with a concentration in Counseling from Boston State College. As a tenured Guidance Counselor of the New York State Education Department, she possesses a permanent certification as a School Counselor.

Marna has built many relationships with admissions counselors at universities across the country which helps her assist students in setting and obtaining realistic college goals.

With over 3,000 colleges and universities in the United States alone, the range of choices available to students is overwhelming and sometimes frightening. Her expertise is to help students and parents navigate their way through this very complex, once-in-a-lifetime experience.
